In July 1936, the military uprising against the Republic takes place, initiating the terrible Spanish Civil War. The streets are taken by the working class, for the anarchists the social revolution begins.

And what did the spectators think? People want to be entertained, to see other worlds away from war and hard routine, and this is provided by Hollywood movies.
