MEMORIA DE UNA LUCHA
A documentary that deals in depth with the role played by Cardinal Vicente Enrique Tarancón, as the maximum representative of the Church during the Transition.
With the testimonies of his relatives, his personal doctor, and his closest collaborators (Father Ángel García, his secretary José María Martín Patino or Jesús Infiesta), he tells us how the spokesman of the Church lived in the democratic change. In addition, personalities from the world of journalism (Pepe Oneto, Jesús Hermida) and politics (Manuel Fraga, Santiago Carrillo, Alfonso Guerra, José Bono, Josep Antoni Duran i Lleida or Gregorio Peces Barba), allow us to learn about the events that marked his public life. Among them, the attack on Carrero Blanco and the subsequent funeral he had to preside over; the pulse of the expulsion of Bishop Añoveros from his diocese, for which he was on the verge of excommunicating Franco; or the homily at the coronation of Juan Carlos I.
