This is the story of an exceptional artist who puts before our eyes a vital dilemma: there are voices – people – who pull the world forward, improve it. Others ask for something to change. We have to decide every day which voices we listen to.

Sara Baras, one of the best flamenco dancers and creators in history, exemplifies through her life and work this universal dilemma.

A transgressive artist, free, adored and criticized within a world as traditional as Flamenco, she faces in her maturity the creation of a show that deals with this debate: To risk or not to risk. In a very short process of time, she will create ‘Voces’, a flamenco show dedicated to those artists who were revolutionary and criticized in their time, and yet, who are now in the limelight. All with a universal value (work, freedom, joy, nonconformity …) applicable to the life of any person.

During this show’s world tour in Spain, France, Mexico or the United States, we get to know Sara Baras, her art and personality, her values, in contrast to those societies so diverse. She herself is today a reference. We will discover at last, far beyond flamenco, that we all have to choose in our day to day life which voices we listen to and which we should follow. Whether we accommodate the established world or decide to try to change it.

We will also be in the proximity/intimacy of the artist and his creative process, the ‘step by step’ creation of the show ‘Voices’ in three weeks.
