Synopsis:
Tellería, a town located in the heart of the Basque Country with whom it has a geographical and cultural connection, belongs anachronistically to Castilla-León. For a long time its municipal leaders have tried, without success, to annex it to the Basque Country. The accidental discovery in the village church of a secret crypt in which there is a medieval tomb belonging to Walter Tell, son of the legendary Swiss hero William Tell, led to the discovery of a document that allowed the inhabitants of the village to leave Spain and request annexation to Switzerland. The Central European country receives with curiosity the representatives of the enclave and conditions its annexation to the Helvetic Confederation to the fulfillment of some requirements that the new canton must fulfill in one year. Meanwhile, Tellería closes its border as a provisional new Swiss canton and the governments of Spain and the Basque Country strive to prevent and boycott the independence of the people.
