EL BAR’ is a peculiar project since it takes place in closed spaces: a typical Spanish bar where its protagonists will live “delirious extreme situations”. A thriller in which a group of customers of the establishment that gives the film its title are suddenly harassed by a sniper (an initial premise that remember a Tower Block, to give a distant example). As the night progresses, pressure and fear bring out in the clients their most intimate secrets and the guilt that derives from them and they will begin to bring out their darker side and reveal all the evil within them.

SYNOPSIS

A group of people locked inside a bar, as a crazy “strange, exterminating angel” is shooting at anyone who comes out. The tensions between the main characters get all the attention, characters who are placed in extreme but comical situations and where topics such as deception, betrayal and guilt are explored. Little by little people inside the bar will begin to reveal their sins and guilt.
